Me-saj of the Half Show Blog SpotCreative, artful, persistent, and charismatic--these are just a few words that describe Me-saj's (pronounced "massage") knightly character. Armed with her mission to bring the world into a new consciousness, only Queens, New York can bred a person of this nature. Growing up in New York, Me-saj was attracted to the wealth of artists and entertainers that embodied the city. This attraction led her to become involved in various drama and dance productions as a teenager.   She was given the name Me-saj by a friend who enjoyed reading her original message-laced poetry, which Me-saj describes as "poetry with a purpose".   To date, Me-saj is still determined to spread this message of positivity among the world through as many innovative and effective channels as possible.

A free spirit by nature and a rising star herself, Mesaj has always had an affinity for the arts. From singing to modeling, The Half is just the latest manifestation of her extensive talent. Teaming up with Jason, her life and business partner, they decided to create The Half to provide a way in which "unknowns could display their talent to the world through the Internet". Me-saj envisions The Half as a "fusion between "Showtime at the Apollo" and "Oprah".

In 2002, Me-saj graduated from Adelphi University, located in Long Island, NY, with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Management. She is currently working towards receiving a Master's of Education in Secondary Education at Queens College.   She is also a member of the national black sorority Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc.

Me-saj's story is only getting started folks and with her determination the ending will be worth waiting for.
